week 18 - maintaining over chrimbo week

Now that the girls are starting to try solids (by BabyLedWeaning) I can spend 20-30mins in the kitchen while they sit in their chairs and the boys "help" me. Hoping that by spending the time together, the kids will learn healthy eating habits while I lose the lbs.

Maintained over the Chrimbo week, which I am quite happy about, as I ate a huge roast, and DH did a massive joint of ham on Boxing day too.

Got to lose 1.5lb a week for 3 weeks to hit my target for little guys birthday.

week 17 - 5th silver 7

Lost 7.5lb in the last fortnight. Girls are growthspurting so even though I've had some days eating a point or two over, I'm still losing at a decent rate.



184.5lb this morning - want to lose 4.5lb in 4 weeks to reach my minigoal for boys birthday.

Week 16 - 1/3rd of the way there..

as of weigh in today. I have lost 33lbs, 15% off of my start weight.

This also happens to be equivalent to the combined weight of my 6 month old twins.

Standing on my scales holding them both, I get the same result as I did alone just 3 months ago! Terrifying thought. Won't be long until I'll be holding my younger son and saying the same. (Hopefully by his 2nd birthday).

week 15 - lots of changes.. but maintained

Update.. Been a mad few weeks.. we moved from Leicester down to Surrey with 3 weeks between decision and move, and DH had to find work before the money ran out.

My method of coping with stress is eating, a lot. (HUGE surprise I know!)

I wavered around 200lb for a couple of weeks, before starting at my new WW group 2 weeks ago. I've lost 8lbs since, so now at 192lb, need to lose 12lbs in 6 weeks to meet my mini-goal for sons birthday.

25lbs point passed
... and I have achieved my fourth silver 7

10% on the nose


YAY. Got my 10% goal key fob thingy today. DHs birthday was 2 days ago - my goal was to have lost the 10% - and I was 200lbs on the nose this morning.





Now heading for my next 10% off - 180lbs for my younger boys 2nd Birthday. Gives me 12 weeks.

Week 7 - 3rd silver 7


Updating (mostly to be keeping accountable to myself!) have lost 21lbs as of Wednesday. DHs birthday is next week, and I have 1 lb to lose to meet my 10% goal for his birthday.

25th Birthday, and the first stone is off..


My 25th birthday. The last birthday I am going to have while being overweight. =)

Got my tribe together for a birthday picture - DH is carrying Maya, I am carrying her 40mins younger sister Anya, and holding Malachi (20months) while Seth (39months) is squished between us.

Three weeks of weightwatching, and I have lost 15lbs. The equivalent weight of one of my 4month old twins! Seeing the mass of As little body on my front, and realising the same amount of me has already disappeared is a bit staggering!! second silver 7!

Mildly concerned that such extreme weightloss could upset supply.. but am really not overdoing it - eating all my points, and priority #1 is to maintain my supply, can't be mucking about with two to feed.

Just been overeating for so long, that eating more normally means it sheds fast to start with. (I put on nearly 2 stone *since* having the twins, so that at least should come off fairly easy - being "new flab")

Week 2 - first silver 7

Was shocked at the idea of eating 43points a day, sure I'd not lose weight, unfortunately I was finding eating that much (and more) far too easy it seems.

SO, in spite of my doubts it appears to be working - my supply is still fine, the twins are happy, and at my weigh in today I'd dropped 8lbs. That's near 10% of my total to lose to get to my top BMI weight, which is pretty awesome.

Very Happy 13 months on, a surprise pregnancy and twins later..



I had gotten down to 1lb off my 10% goal in early October 2007, when I stopped losing weight and felt very poorly.. a few days of denial and a home test later and instead of hitting my weightloss goal for DHs birthday, I was showing him a 3 month ultrasound scan picture of his twin daughters.

Went back to WW last week, to discover that I was 222lbs - so in 13months I have carried twins to 39 weeks, and lost a whole pound of flab. Fairly impressive, if not the original plan.



So, starting again now the girls are 3.5months old, and we have feeding well established, (with an extra 20 points a day as I am exclusively breastfeeding 2 babies) Really loving my new leader, who emphasised taking care of my milk supply, and not using low fat products.

Aiming (again) for my 10% - a loss of 22lbs for DHs birthday at the end of Oct.. though I know it may take longer to come off, and being able to feed my girls is far more important than getting the weight off at any great speed.
