week 22, and the girls are eating..

Another 1.5 off this week. Cut my points down by 10 now, the girls are now over 8 months old, and have really taken to solids (a**e) So am on 30 points a day.

week 21, a week of goals..

So.. been a rough couple of weeks. Stuck indoors with two very poorly boys. Didn't make it to weigh in last week - but by my horribly accurate scales I had stayed at 13st 1. So 3lbs to lose in the last 6 days to get to my minigoal for Kais birthday yesterday.

Added to that the girls have really taken off with solids, doing baby led weaning so not huge amounts go in, but enough to make a difference. And so I've cut down my extra allowed for breastfeeding 2 by 5 points. Meant I've gone from 43 a day to 35.

I was *really* good, stuck to my points and tried not to think about the lack of walking I was doing. My sons birthday yesterday was lovely (and I blew 1/2 of my days points on a very naughty yummy cake!)

Today at weigh in I was 178.5lbs!! Almost the smallest I've been since having children, over 3 stone lost since September and down on my start weight by 20%. BMI has gone from 39.9 to 31.5 I'm really pleased with that result.

Also got my 6th silver 7

Next goal is for the girls' first birthday - 4 months away. I want to lose a lb a week to hit my next 10% - 11st 8lbs. (Secretly would love to maintain my current rate of weight loss and hit my 40% goal of 10st 2.. but we'll see!)

week 19

Weighed in at 183lbs today - 13st 1lb. Hoping to break into the 12s next week - will then weigh the least I have done since having children!! Another 3lbs to lose to hit my minigoal of 20% (3 stone) off my start weight - ds2s birthday is just under 2 weeks away, totally doable.

lost the equivalent weight of my chunky toddler

Todays weigh in showed a total change so far of 39lbs - the equivalent weight of my very-nearly-2 year old!

Seems absolutely mad that 4 months ago I couldn't let that extra load down and watch it run about, cos it was my own flubber! Am feeling very excited to be losing this weight, and giving my husband a mentally and physically well wife, and my children a happy energetic mum, like they deserve.

Easter weight loss challenge..

I don't get a chance to post much on the community boards at WW online, but do keep up with the 5stone+ to lose board, have picked up some great tips and there's a good feeling of support and helping each other along there.

Reading just before New Year I stumbled across a thread describing an Easter challenge - interested members join up into teams, and over the 14weeks from New years til Easter, record joint weight changes. Set a goal each of what we aim to lose, and try to reach it in time! The challenge began today, I was 183lbs - aiming to lose 14lbs for the challenge.
